The short version: this is an independent guide. We try hard to be accurate, but the hotel's own information always wins, and a room request is not a booking.

What this site is

Queen's Wharf Weekend is an independent information guide about The Star Grand and the Queen's Wharf precinct in Brisbane, with a desk that answers room requests by email. It is not the official website of the hotel, the resort or the precinct, and it is not affiliated with their owners or operator.

Information on the site

We take facts from official sources and date our checks. Hours, rates, rules and events change, sometimes without notice. Before you rely on something important — a time, a price, an access detail — check it with the hotel or on the official page linked at the bottom of each of our pages.

Room requests

Sending the form does not reserve a room and does not create a contract with us or the hotel.
A reservation is made only with the hotel or a booking partner, on their terms, including payment and cancellation.
We aim to reply within one working day but cannot guarantee availability or a particular rate.
Please send only true details about yourself; do not send requests on behalf of others without their agreement.

We link to official and public sources so you can check us. We are not responsible for the content of those sites. Links to Google Maps open Google's service.

The texts and illustrations on this site are ours. You are welcome to link to any page. Please do not copy whole pages to another site.

Gambling

Send us your weekend dates

Tell us when you arrive and leave, how many of you there are and which room you are after. Our room desk checks availability and the current rate at The Star Grand for those dates, then writes back by email with what we found — usually the same day.

A request is not a booking and we never ask for card details on this site. If you like what we send, the reservation itself is made with the hotel or with the booking partner that holds the room.

How we are paid: if your request turns into a confirmed stay, the hotel or the booking partner that completes the reservation pays us a commission. You pay the same rate either way — see our revenue disclosure.
